
Examines the political and institutional issues surrounding the implementation of an innovative package of measures. In particular this task will: Set up a Policy Group (PG) to steer policy inputs and discussions, to continuously interact with the Policy Advisory Committee, the CIVITAS Forum, the CIVITAS PLUS SSAs, and the external world in general; Organize policy-related site visits and exchanges, to regularly review, assess and orient the policy dimension of the demonstration projects; Identify the enabling policy framework for successful radical changes, focusing in particular on the barriers and drivers existing in the local city contexts; Analyze the extent to which the implementation of the demonstration projects, and the process thereof have helped to create a favourable political climate and have triggered the desired multiplier effect; Issue recommendations on the adoption of radical strategies for clean urban transport, with particular focus on policy lessons that other cities can learn from the experience of the demonstration project; Provide inputs to the CIVITAS Plus SSAs for comparability and transferability analysis.
